Project introduction:

The world's first 700MW double-water internal cooling turbogenerator project began in January 2020. Based on the successfully operation of the world's first 660MW double-water internal cooling generator, we—together with Shanghai power plant—evaluated the on-site operating status of the 700MW double-water internal cooling turbogenerator unit equipment. Under 700MW working condition, the generator has passed the excitation system model parameter test, PSS test, primary frequency modulation test, phase advance test, temperature rise test, boiler efficiency and maximum output test, steam turbine performance test, steam turbine and its speed control system parameter test, AGC, AVC test and VWO working condition test of the whole unit. It is proved that the technical circuit of 700MW double-water internal cooling turbogenerator is reasonable and meet the operation requirements of the current double water internal cooling turbo generator. During the test, we optimized the operating boundary conditions, and found the technical parameters of the equipment in the 700MW double-water internal cooling turbogenerator. The efficiency is as high as 99.04% in the efficiency test. The successful study on capacity increase and efficiency improvement of 700MW generator provides a reference for the R & D and manufacturing of double water internal cooling generator with larger single unit capacity. With the relevant operating parameters, the generator structure can be optimized effectively, which laying a foundation for the industrial development of relevant fields. By providing the successful case for the large-capacity development of the self-developed double water internal cooling generator in China, it promotes the research and development of domestic major equipment, opens a new market and new trend of hydrogenation free and economical large-scale generators, and leads the change in the direction of technological development.
