Project introduction:

Tailbuoy positioning is the first step of Marine energy exploration, and it is also the key to obtaining high-precision geological structure images. At present, China's marine energy exploration tailbuoy positioning is heavily dependent on foreign countries, software and hardware products can not achieve autonomy, imported products are expensive and safety can not be guaranteed. In July 2020, the Global Navigation Satellite System of Beidou-3 was completed, and its characteristic short message communication service provided technical support for the realization of independent marine energy exploration and positioning.

This project innovatively introduces Beidou short message communication technology into the field of marine energy exploration tailbuoy positioning, forms a complete set of GNSS high-precision positioning schemes in the whole sea area, and designs the first set of marine energy exploration tailbuoy positioning system based on Beidou short message communication in China. Aiming at the frequency and bandwidth limitation of Beidou short message, the team integrated the spatial relative positioning technology and the time relative positioning technology, and created the long baseline RTK positioning technology of the simplified coding method of the differential observation value of the Beidou short message and the fusion time baseline method, and the relative positioning accuracy can reach the centimeter level. Combined with Beidou short message communication service and International GNSS real-time service (IGS RTS), an RTS equivalent range correction calculation, simplification and encoding method is innovatively proposed, and a precision point positioning model with low communication frequency is constructed, which realizes the precision point positioning of the far sea at the decimeter level. Relying on the core technology, the team combined with the actual needs of marine energy exploration and positioning, independently developed the tailbuoy positioning software and hardware system, broke the foreign monopoly, and realized the "Chinese intelligent manufacturing" of positioning equipment.
